Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: April 2026This page explains what information is collected on lukyo.cz, what cookies and similar technologies are used, and what your rights are. We try to keep things readable and honest — if anything here isn’t clear, get in touch via the contact form.
The short version: By default we collect nothing about you. Only if you actively consent via the cookie banner do we load Google Analytics (anonymous usage statistics) or Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on the contact form). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time.
Who runs this site
lukyo.cz is the personal website of Lukáš Olšanský, a Czech beach volleyball player. The site is operated personally and is not associated with any commercial entity.
What information we collect
Always-on (essential)
Two preferences are stored locally on your device using your browser’s localStorage: your chosen language (English or Czech) and your chosen theme (light or dark). These are never transmitted to us or to third parties.
If you submit the contact form
The data you type into the partnership enquiry form (typically a name, email address, partnership type, and message) is sent to us by email and used solely to respond to your enquiry. The submission is processed via FormSubmit.co.
If you consent to Analytics
Google Analytics 4 collects anonymous usage information: which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, your approximate location (country/region), device type, browser type, and the referring website. Your IP address is anonymised before storage. We use this purely to understand which content resonates so we can improve the site over time.
If you consent to Bot Protection
Google reCAPTCHA v3 verifies invisibly in the background that contact form submissions come from real humans rather than spam bots. To do this it analyses cookies, browser environment and basic interaction patterns and assigns a trust score. No challenge or pop-up appears; the verification is silent.

Third-party services
A small number of third-party services are used to make the site work. Each is loaded only when needed and, where consent applies, only after you have agreed:
- Netlify hosts the site. Netlify may keep technical server logs (IP, request timestamp, browser type) for security and operational reasons.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Google receives a request when fonts load — standard for any site using web fonts.
- FormSubmit.co processes contact form submissions and forwards them to us by email. FormSubmit privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent) provides anonymous visitor analytics. Google privacy policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 (only with your consent) provides spam protection on the contact form. Google privacy policy.
Your rights and controls
Change your consent
To change which cookies you allow, clear your browser’s storage for lukyo.cz and reload the page — the cookie banner will reappear.
Opt out of Google Analytics
Beyond using our consent banner, Google offers a browser-wide opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting which we honour by default.
Form data deletion
If you have submitted the contact form and want your message and email address removed from our records, send a quick note via the form and we’ll delete it.
Data transfers
Google services (Analytics, reCAPTCHA, Fonts) are operated by Google LLC in the United States. Where your personal data is processed by Google, the transfer is governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Google’s standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this page
If we introduce new tracking or change anything material about how data is handled, this page is updated and the “last updated” date reflects the change. Substantial changes will also re-trigger the cookie banner so returning visitors can review their consent.
